01/07

GUIDED TOURS

Barcelona is an explorers dream! Multiple districts to adventure around, the amazing Gothic Quarter, awesome bars & beautiful beaches.

SPANISH TAPAS

Barcelona is famous for its Spanish Tapas! You'll find it in most bars & restaurants across the city and is a must try, especially along the beach!

BAR VISITS

It's called BARcelona for a reason. We're taking the adventure to the night, as we explore some of the best (and most lively) bars the city has to offer.

TRIP TIPS

Here are some Driftaway Trip Tips before embarking on your Barcelona adventure. Spanish Tapas is surely a must!

CHECK OUT LA RAMBLA

Considered the most well known street in central Barcelona, this tree lined street stretches 1.2km and is lined with awesome boutiques, bars & restaurants.

TRY SPANISH TAPAS

Barcelona is famous for its Spanish Tapas! You'll find it in most bars & restaurants across the city and is a must try!

SPEAK SOME CATALAN

Catalan is the preferred language of the locals. Learn a few simple phrases such as, bon dia (hello), merci (thank you) and adéu (goodbye).

WATCH OUT FOR PICKPOCKETS

Loads of tourists means a fair few scams. Stay away from people on the streets offering you bracelets or roses, and take care of your belongings.

TO TIP OR NOT TO TIP

Unlike a lot of other western countries, tipping culture in Barcelona is much less prominent. If you really want to, we'd advise 10% max.

BRING YOUR BEACH GARMS

It might be March/April, but temperatures could be nice. With a beach on our doorstep & a boat party on the schedule, it's better to be safe than sorry.

FAQs

Personal travel insurance is not included in your trip package. Please ensure that you have this in place prior to leaving for your destination, although it is not obligatory. Fresh2Death Ltd will have tour operator insurance in place.

The sooner you secure your place, the sooner you can book your flights, and they tend to be cheaper when booked earlier. You can also spread your payments out over more months which makes Driftaway Barcelona more affordable.

Driftaway Barcelona is a 3 night trip so you only need to bring the equivalent of hand luggage realistically. Flights will of course be cheaper if you're only bringing hand luggage or a carry on bag instead of checked in luggage, but there is room at your accommodation for whatever you please.

Yes, we always try to build free time into Driftaway Barcelona so you can appreciate where we are at your own pace. Attending all our organised activities is not compulsory although highly advised to make the most of your trip experience.

The booking fee helps us cover the ticketing platforms cost of hosting our website and processing all purchases on our behalf as well as providing the functionality for deposits and payment instalments. These are compulsory charges set out by the partner platform and not ones we can avoid unfortunately.

Yes, you'll need spending money for anything not included in the trip, for example, food throughout each day, drinks (including alcohol) and any activities or adventures you want to do during your free time. We'd advise bringing a small amount of cash, in Euros, just in case.

You must adhere to the 90-day-visa-free limit if you are a British passport holder but at present, you do not require a visa for a short stay visit. You can find more information here: https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/spain/entry-requirements

Yes. Airport transfers, metro tickets, Razzmatazz club entry ticket & any fees to get into cultural spots such as Sagrada Familia are not included. We can and will help with all these things but please ensure you purchase anything necessary in advance.
