Menu of the days are a bank account saviour! Generally inexpensive & consist of 2 courses with bread and dessert or coffee included.

EXPECT LATE DINNER

USE SPANISH PHRASES

Use phrases like "Hablas Inglés" (you speak English?), “Hola” (Hi), “Gracias” (Thanks), & “Hasta Luego” (See you later) to make extra effort with locals.

Madrid provides unlimited WiFi access in both public & private settings. Some cultural venues are Conde Duque, CentroCentro, Casa del Reloj & Casa de Vacas!

BIRDS EYE VIEW OF MADRID

Visit Circulo de Bellas Artes, a structure that contains a cultural centre as well as a rooftop & bar with insane views of Madrid!

AVOID PLAZA MAYOR

Fine to walk round, but avoid eating at restaurants here. They're well known tourist traps & overcharge for meals. Try street food & independents instead!
